Photos from my run to Coney Island.

The storm was about two months ago, but there is still a lot of mess to be cleaned up.

There are some patches of sand still on the Boardwalk

They seam to be piling the sand on the streets that lead to the boardwalk.

Below is the fishing pier.  You can't really tell but there is a hole in the middle and the end of it is falling into the Ocean.

Below are two views of the same back yard. The sand looks to be about 3 feet deep.

The playground was destroyed.

There used to be a fence at the west end of the Coney Island Boardwalk.  It blocked the view to the homes of the people who live in Seagate.  Now those homes are gone.

Nathan's used to be open 24/7365.  I would have gotten some french fries there even if it was Christmas morning.

  1. Amazing photos CU. MOther nature is so powerful to move that amount of sand.
