Chicken Underwear, you are not in Brooklyn anymore.

For some reason the fine folk of East Stroudsburg wanted to remind me of New York.  Main Street has at least 3 shops with Brooklyn or New York in their title.  I walked past, I did not drive a 100 miles for a Hero's

There were vending machines that sold food, live food for fish. I was left wondering if the inside of that machine was frigerated like the soda machine it never will be again or if kept the worms warm.

Do worms need to be warm?

I need to buy some salt tablets for the race.  Unfortunately, the drug store had closed at 2pm, but I could have returned on Monday to stock up on colostomy supplies.

I hoped to find some salt along the course, maybe at a fast food restaurant.  The bad news was the race did not pass any fast food restaurants.  The good news was the race did not pass any fast food restaurants.  The best news was, I did not need any salt.

So I wondered in looking for some salt and maybe a thing to strap my droid to my forearm.  I turns out a "Sports Outfitter" is defined a differently in rural Pennsylvania than it is in Brooklyn.  This place sells guns, lots and lots of guns.  I don't understand why killing another thing is called a sport.

But that might just be me.

I got outta there quick.

Speaking of things hat people might kill, this deer was in the parking lot of the hotel that race registration was in.

This very welcoming hotel.

  1. Worms don't have to be kept warm. Keeping them cool/cold is best, to keep the dirt damp.

  2. Sounds like a great time, love the deer. I know I keep the worms for my lizard cold until I am ready to feed them to him, keeps them alive that way.

"Coneys" as the preferred term for what we call hotdogs.
A brand of shoe, very popular from the number of stores advertising it, called "Bronx". I've never seen it in the US.
