Sustainable

I am in the middle of reading The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.  So far it is a critique of the "organic" movement.  (Not that organic is bad, but if you have to put you food on a 747 you might as well not)

I am up in Northampton again and stopped for a treat at Flayvors of Cook Farm.

They have dairy cows, they sell dairy products.

We enjoyed ice cream that was made from milk from these cows

These cows.....

Some products were made with the help of these chickens (I think they are chickens)

I think it was the best ice cream I stole from my kids.  I am told their asparagus ice cream is really good.

Not a passive aggressive note

Later we stopped at a farm stand.  It was unattended.
The box was so full of cash that you had to shove it in with a putty knife.
It is really bad Karma to steal corn.
