A day at the movies

Literally a "day" at the movies.

First we saw Land of the Lost. What a waist. The kids were even bored  If you saw the coming attractions you saw all the funny parts. It did not even make sense.

Then we saw Night at the Museum; Battle of the Smithsonian. I think this movie was a sleeper. (Is that the right word?) I did not think it was gonna be so funny, but it was. Since the Smithsonian came to live there were more references to American culture and history. Also, some of the art come to life and it was quite beautiful. Spoiler alert>>>>>> I thought is was an especially nice little moment when the Tuskegee Airmen met Amalea Earhart. The line was:
Tuskegee Airman #2: [to Amelia] Ma'am, I'd just like to thank you...
Amelia Earhart: For what?
Tuskegee Airman #2: Well, a lot of people didn't think we could fly, either. Thanks for clearing the runway. [salutes her]

Then we saw Imagine That. We should have gone home. The coming attractions made me thing it was gonna be a move about a kids imaginary world. It was not. It was about greed and one man's mid-live crisis. Anyway, what happened to Eddie Murphy. He used to be really funny. Now he is making a billion dollars doing voice overs and making kid's movies.
When that played on my car radio I had to pull over I was laughing so hard.

Don't look at me like that. I also spent $21 on 2 hot dogs a drink and a popcorn.
