How good can Grimaldi's be. Who know's I would walk in for a slice, but no they don't sell slices. And, like I am gonna wait on that line to get a pie to go? Whatever.
Come to think of it, I don't even think I know anyone who ate there. Why would you go out of your way for pizza. We got good pizza on every corner.
And it you follow their directions from their website you ain't gonna find them anyway.
Walking Over the Bridge:
· Walk over the bridge until you see the sign for DUMBO
· Take the stairwell down to the street and head towards the water
· We’re located at 19 Old Fulton Street , look for the big green sign and the long line!
Subway:
- Take A or C to High Street
Or
- Take 2 or 3 to Clark Henry
Forgetaboutit! These directions don't make sense.
I've eaten there, it's worth the wait
ReplyDeleteI would go nuts waiting on that line. I will check it out, but there should be a special line for Brooklynites.
ReplyDeleteWent once about fifteen years ago with a couple of people from elsewhere, but on a winter weeknight with no line. The pizza made no impression, all these years later--all I remember about the evening was the River Cafe for coffee and dessert: the chocolate Brooklyn Bridge.
ReplyDeleteEaten there - not worth it. Get a mention in someplace as the "best pizza in Brooklyn" and watch the tourists come running. Someone should have asked someone actually FROM Brooklyn..
ReplyDeleteso...........where would you go
ReplyDeletefor a great pizza..
here in Florida there is no great
pizza, because of the water
xxxooo
I don't think I would go outta my way for food, I ain't gonna wait on line for it, no matter how good it is.
