I got some culture today

I don't know if hooking up with an old friend was an excuse for getting some culture or if it was the other way around. But this was a really nice performance. The kids liked it too!

My friend that is in this orchestra once performed for President Bush. They were invited back to the White House.

Politically I think my friend and I are on the same page, but when you are in the Man's house ya gotta be nice. He said Bush hung out with his orchestra for a few hours. They played some instruments and had some beers. He said Bush was OK to hang with since politics was off limits. He as a good host.

I guess George Bush had the wrong job for the previous 8 years. He should have been First Lady. I think the whole world would be in a much better place if Bush had been given an unimportant project and the job of making people feel comfortable when they came to visit the President. Oh well.
