This is why I run with a camera

It is a little camera, it fits it my pocket.

If it were a big camera, I could not run with it.

This might look better with a bigger camera, but it caught my eye.

First, the ad on the phone booth for Construction safety week, then the construction site behind it. Then I saw the ad for 1-800-GOT-JUNK. All in one spot.

Then I ran past the Meineke Shop that I saw last week. I was gonna just get a close up picture of the muffler family. But a friend of the owner offered to take my picture with it. He told me it is the second one to stand on that spot. The original was sold. I was so happy to here that it was not stolen. He said the neighborhood if full of good people, nobody would steel it. I told the guy that his shop should be on the Home Page for Meineke, not the bland suburban storefront shops.

Then, I ran around Green-Wood Cemetery (be be careful, if you click the link to Green-Wood, you get dead people music).

I noticed that it has a license plate. A Closer look showed that it was an historical marker. It is a New York State Historical Cemetery. Are the 3354 other historic cemeteries in New York State? That's alot. Or maybe there are 3355 historic people buried there. Whatever...

  3. We love Greenwood, have you ever gone inside? It's a gorgeous cemetery! There are even lakes and ducks. i taught Justin how to drive in there, it's huge and has lots of winding roads and turns.

  4. I have to say, I'm not a keen observant when I'm walking/running and I really admire you for that. I shall try to be observant next time:)
