I am told it is a romantic musical celebrating the love Johnny Thunders had for heroin. It will feature music of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Bands like The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys and the Plasmatics. There will be slam dancing and staring off into space.
The entire show is set in the woman's room at CBGB's.
"I wanted to channel all of the teenage anger I had for the established music industry by making a lot of money" said one of the shows producers. He continued, "we will reinvest the profits from this show to build a Disney style theme park".
The working title is "I don't know what I want, but I know how to get it, the Musical"
I was invited because I was arrested at The Mudd Club once.
If I get there early I am told I can participated in Punk Rock Karaoke.
Marc Jacobs Sweet Punk Handbag available at the gift shop
Staggering out of the restaurant Cut in Beverly Hills L.A. it’s non other than the (uhm) hardcore party-goers Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Love. While it looks to me that Gwyneth went purse-less, Love spent the evening with her Marc Jacobs Sweet Punk purse on arm.
