Train Pigs

I found a new blog, Train Pigs.  He documents the filth he has to share is commute with.  Mostly people who confuse the L train with their kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. He is a little harsh but, shit, this is New York.

So there is this guy on the B train handing out papers.  He was not just handing them out, he was dropping them on everybody's lap and sticking them into every crack on the subway.  I know the photo sucks, but I had to be like a spy when I took it.  They guy woulda kicked my ass.

But, never mind the mess he made on the train.  Look at the flyer.

Mrs Taylor is not just gonna give you advise she will "Stop Nature Problems..... She reveals to you all of the hidden secrets, evil eyes and lurking dangers that may harm you."

Yea, I am sure I am gonna get double my money back if she does not "bring the spirit of release and control your every affair and dealing."  I don't even know what that means.

  1. I was on the subway on Wednesday and actually thought of you when I saw the Metro cards on the ground. Felt like picking them up but it would take me too long to figure out which ones had any money left.
Anyway, it was interesting. It is always interesting but I no longer do it daily

  2. lol.
There are all types out there. We see the odd ones easily but for every odd one there are lots and lots of normal ones!

  3. Growing up and living in the South, I only experience the Metro on vacations. I have to say that I wish every city I visited emulated Montreal. That said, I couldn't imagine the hilarious/scary/jaw-dropping things you witness daily.

BTW, the pic is much better than some of my recent "espionage-style" photography I've attempted lately. Gotta have proof sometimes and a fuzzy, blurry IPhone image just doesn't cut it!

  4. yea, Go USA! Freedom of Speech.

I guess you are talking about the 1st Amendment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

But this is littering. It is also business. She is [going to] take money to "satisfy each and everyone."

  5. Sigh. Too many crazies everywhere. And people out to take advantage of others already down on their luck. :(
