I'm not minimizing the pain and frustration, which is real and aggravating and likely scary, but if it gets reframed as a Mr Miyagi moment (this is from a quick Google search https://medium.com/@jeffgoins/the-mr-miyagi-guide-to-practicing-your-craft-82a52e43ef6a) or Rocky III when Rocky Balboa does a return to the basics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_III). Everybody is different but this helped me return from a similar but not as devastating illness.
