Left the deep snow for just a little snow in Northampton Mass. We had a great visit with
Sasha and
Dave. We all had a great time, but I was secretly looking looking forward to running their
rails to trails in the winter. It was an awesome run. My only problem was that I had to cut it short. I told Dave that I would be back in about 2 hours. After an hour of running I did not want to turn around and go back.
But Dave and Sasha live on top of a hill. If I had run much further, getting back to their house would have been a drag. I also thought that I would just keep running and call Dave and ask him to pick me up. He would have done that but it would have take him a long time to come and get me and waiting (in the possibly cold) would not have been fun. Anyway, awesome is another word overused by the 10 year old crowd, so look at the last photo.

This billboard can be seen from mile marker 26.2 of I 91 as you are heading north in Mass. |
As the resident who lives near it, I can attest that it is really a billboard with this message at this location. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow, I hope nobody ever puts me on a billboard. There was a time when I would have loved it, but no longer. My inner awesome is covered by so many layers of old lady that no one can see it any more except the people who already love me. LOL
ReplyDeleteSeriously, the billboard is awesome. And running, in any direction, is awesome, too. I remember running when it felt like flying.
